Fluted ivory grip. Ivory registration number 9MANFV53; this allows us to lawfully sell this scarce sword.
The 32 inch blade as feint remnants of the once glorious blue and gilt etching, is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The gilt brass hilt is very good for its age. The fluted ivory grip scales are equally very good for their age; very little cracking, a small chip or two. Scabbard absent.
5 Ball spadroons are the scarcest versions of the 1786P and are on every serious British infantry sword collector’s bucket list. This one is well above average and can be yours for was £?
