Shorter than full length Royal Artillery officer’s sword for a mounted artillery officer.



The 26 3/4 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt / guard good but with some age / shallow pitting. Fishskin grip with age and wear and a small “moth hole” or two. Twisted grip wire in good order. Steel scabbard with age, a ding, wear and is missing a throat screw. The sword sheathes and draws well but is very tight full sheathed.
