The tsuba (grip / hilt) is solid (can not easily / safely be removed). The blade has both hamon and hada; it is traditionally forged. It may be signed or not; a labour of careful love for someone to look? Circa early 20C. Gendaito.
The 20 7/8 inch nagasa (cutting edge section excluding habaki) blade is in very good condition / original polish, some small scuffs / very light scrathes / finger prints and firm in the hilt / tsuka. The same / rayskin has a small splitbut is other wise good. The grip is in otherwise good though worn / aged condition. The scabbard is fairly good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
A well above wakizashi in well above average condition; just was £? (too late, now sold) (a bargain). Please quote item reference ZW72. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 2168 79 x 13 x 13 (1.30).
