The impressive 38 1/4 inch long plain bade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard is very good but for a small scrape to the knuckle bow bar. The original leather grip is in a little worn but in very good condition, plus the twisted grip wire bindings are good. The steel scabbard has some age and wear but remains good. The sword sheathes and draws well.
