Many sellers inflate their sabers to claim them to be rare US Revolutionary War (of Independence) Wagon Wheel Sabers, but look at the guards! Do you see a wagon wheel anywhere.? Here you do, a perfect wheel circle.
The 27 3/4 inch blade is well aged (pitted) in places, plus has some period cutting edge damage, but is sound snd firm in the hilt. The steel and wood hilt with wagon wheel guard has some pitting but is generally good; the wood grip with an age drying split and plenty of wear is nonetheless sound. Scabbard long absent.
