In quite good condition, an ERII BRNC Royal Naval Officer’s Wilkinson Sword

BRNC = Britannia Royal Naval College. Marked BRNC to the folding guard section. They removed the Wilkinson Sword serail number off the blade’s spine for whatever reason (you can see this in the extra photos). We bought this BRNC Wilkinson Sword from the MOD (British Ministry of Defence).
The 30 5/8 inch well etched blade is in good condition except for inert pitting around the rounded point and light surface rust here and there. Blade firm in the hilt. The gilt brass hilt in very good condition. The faux fishskin grip annd twisted grip wire bindings generally good. The leather and brass fittings scabbard is aged / fair with a kink (so the scabbard is floppy at that point) and the top fitting incomplete. The sword sheathes and draws well when the scabbard is supported at the kink, but does not fully sheath (there is a very small gap).
