These are very rare pieces but hard to prove authentic as very few survived WW2 by nature of the pilots who carried them. Plus, the style varied enormously, though the basics are the same. This one has age which lends itself to being authentic, such age is near impossible to fake.
5 5/16 inch unsigned blade in good condition. The leather sheath and hilt with clear age but are good. The neck rope is possibly a later addition. Total length when sheathed 9 7/8 inches.
