The above feedback was left for us on the forum Antique Swords Org which has now closed. You will see our lowest rating was 9 out of 10 with over 75% of customers saying we scored 10 out of 10!
PS If you want to know why we ask our customers NOT to use TrustPilot, perhaps you should read the Google reviews of TrustPilot or the TrustPilot reviews on IO; lowest possible scores and plenty of substantive criticism. But just try leaving a negative review of TrustPilot on their own site! Ours and others were automatically removed within seconds! DonotTrustPilot! #Trustjacked.
1853 Cavalry Sword
Excellent piece of kit . Communication was spot on and delivery without issue. Doesn’t get better than that. Highly recommended and nice people to do business with.

1821P LC Sabre No markings, Possible Campaign Sword.
After a disappointing experience with a reproduction sword, I decided to cut my losses and buy an old original. Antique-Swords.com happened to be the first online seller that I stumbled across and they didn’t disappoint. This is a professional business and, given my experience here, one that I can now heartily recommend.
Communications: Prompt and polite. My purchase transaction was smoothly and speedily dealt with. Extra images of the item were immediately sent to me, so that I had more to go on and if I had needed to ask for further information, I know that that information would have been quickly forthcoming.
Postage: item ordered on Saturday PM and it was on my doorstep Tuesday AM. The sword was very well packaged and arrived in good order, without any issues.
The Sword: Exactly as described. Better in the flesh in some ways, as the photo lighting is bright, which is somewhat unforgiving. Given that this sword is nearly 180 years old, it’s in fine fettle, just as described. I’m considering, given that it has no markings, etc, having it fully restored. The 1821 Pattern, Light Cavalry Sabre, with the 1845 Wilkinson blade is a very attractive sword and I’m extremely happy to now own it.
Many thanks to Antique-Swords.com
As Arnie said “I’ll be back”!
