Very well decorated hilt. No maker’s mark visible. Circa 1740.
The 22 1/16 inch blade is in aged condition (pitting and patina throughout) with several old nicks to the cutting edge is firm in the hilt. The brass hilt / guard is good but very aged and somewhat worn, slight bending to the knucklebow and quillon gone. The twisted grip wire grip is aged and worn but good.
