In aged / worn condition, a m1780 Prussian Jaeger Infantryman’s Sword

Probably Potsdam made. The guard engraved “No 96 M”, so an enlisted soldier’s sword.
The 31inch rounded tip blade is in aged / pitted condition, but firm in the hilt (blade’s leather scabbard stop is gone). The hilt has lost its small inner guard but it otherwise good for its age. The twisted wire grip is very good for its age. Scabbard absent.
