Pictures say it all. Genuine rams horn with locally / trasitionally made blade (with talismanic symbols), complete with scabbard,. Circa 1900, a British serviceman’s bring back trophy from the Sudanese Campaign.
The rustic 24 3/8 inch traditionally forged blade is in good condition and firm in the hilt. The ram’s horn hilt is in good condition. The typical leather Sudanese scabbard is good for its age. The sword sheathes and draws a little tightly but well.
