Engraved with Alex Coppel of Solingen’s logo to the blade., plus “1605” to the front of the guard / hilt.
The plain dual fullered plated steel 33 3/4 inch blade is in very good condition exceot for one side of the forte which has some wear and steel show through. Blade firm in hilt. The gilt hilt generally good but with some distortion to guard (the folding section opens & closes a little skew / tightly). The fishskin grip is good, as are the associated twisted grip wire bindings. Blackened steel scabbard good, but some age / scuffs. The sword sheathes and draws well.
