Understood to have come from the Sikh / Punjab region of India. A heavy fighting tulwar with clearly traditionally forged blade.
The 29 7/8 inch blade with clear forging lines is in generally worn but good condition, plus firm in the hilt. The solid steel hilt / guard with integrated grip and quality star / sun burst pommel is in aged but good condition. The leather scabbard is aged and worn, plus has lost the chape section, though the sword still sheathes and draws well.
