Grey etched. No maker’s / retailer’s details on blade. Faux fishskin grip. No Royal Cypher but the British Royal Coat of Arms (dirks pre-Edward 8th / 1936 typically had this). Post Worls War One. The etch styling likely means Sheffield made.
The 18 1/8 inch grey / gray etched blade is in very good condition, the detail slightly faded but only slightly, plus blade firm in the hilt. The gilt brass hilt is very good; the faux fishskin grip and associated grip wire bindings also very good. The scabbard retaining / release catch works well. Dirk / sword knot in very good condition. The sheath / scabbard has some age / scuffing to the leather but is otherwise very good. The dirk sheathes and draws well.
