Plain bladed and quite scarce as not at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean!
The 8 3/4 inch blade is in good condition, a tiny bit of plating loss and a tiny back edge ding, plus firm in the hilt. The hilt good; the “Same” (rayskin) grip good but has a hairline drying crack one side. The leather and brass fittings scabbard / sheath good, with uniform rubbing colour fading along one side in evidence. The dirk sheathes and draws well, the locking pin mechanism working and holds the sheath in place.
Good honest guaranteed authentic example at a honestly low price; was £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference AH92. Further / full sized images available upon request. Box 1899 (0.420) 43 x 11 x 10.
