Two 3rd Pattern British Commando F-S Fighting Knives, Sold

In good condition, two 3rd Pattern British Commando Fairbairn-Sykes F-S Fighting Knives, the former property of Royal Marine Major J W Cumming.

We bought these two F-S fighting knives along with the sword of Royal Marine Major J W Cumming (deceased) from hi family. They are both 3rd pattern, one is marked to the crossguard "WILLIAM RODGERS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND". They are officer private purchases so there are no government stamps on them. They came and therefore come without sheathes.

The 6 7/8 inch blades are both in good condition and firm in their hilts. The hilts both with some wear but are good. A perfect pair / duo for just £? (too late, now sold)! Please quote item reference V43 (0991). Full sized photos available upon request.
