The superbly grey / gray etched 31 1/4 inch blade is in very good condition, some small rust patches (now inert) but not so many, some wear / staining but not so much, and firm in the hilt. The hilt in good condition; the folding guard section works well and locates properly on the scabbard's retaining pin. The fishskin grip a little grubby from wear in places but very good, as are the associated grip wire bindings. The leather and brass scabbard is good but the leather has lost most of its gloss surface layer. The belts (by Gieve) are sound but some od the straps are damaged. The sword sheathes and draws well.

So rare, a British Admiral's sword in well above average condition. Don't hesitate or it will soon be gone at £? (too late, now sold) . Please quote item reference number W41 (1162). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
