In sound condition, a Napoleonic French Superior Officer's Epee
Court Sword.
 

Marked / etched to Coulaux Klingenthal, with old attached French
inventory label stating "Epee de sortie d'un officier superieur".
From the 1st
restoration of the French monarchy (1814-1815).



The 29 5/8 inch colichemarde blade has lost its etching save for
the maker's details. Blade firm in the grip but the hilt does have
movement . Hilt and grip sound but with some gaps evident.
A good buy at just £? (too late4, now sold). Please quote
