WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes F-S Commando Knife, Hand Ground Blade, sold

In good condition, a WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes F-S Commando Knife, 2nd Pattern, Hand Ground Blade.

With the Y shaped blade forte, this second pattern F-S fighting knife has a hand ground blade.

5 7/8 inch bright blade in good condition and firm in the hilt / grip. Hilt cross guard good. Chequered brass grip good but with some knocks and staining. The leather sheath is a much later replacement but serves a purpose of keeping a sharp edge covered.
