The 32 3/8 inch grey etched blade has age and small inert rust patches but is good and firm in the hilt. The hilt with some scuffs and tarnish but very good for its age. The faux fishskin grip in good condition, a little loose inside the hilt which is fairly normal for these swords. The crimson buff liner is quite good. The crimson tassle is loosing its threads but is quite sound. The leather field service scabbard has lost the metal part of the chape and some of the stitching is coming away due to dry leather shrinkage. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A nice example at a nice price; £? (tto late, now sold). Please quote item reference number V59 (0997). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
