The 26 1/4 inch blade is in very good condition, save for a couple of minor nicks (probably period), bearing the serial number 27634 and Kokora To arsenal mark, and is firm in the hilt / tsuka. The tsuka / hilt good with some original copper paint remaining; the nut has gone but the bolt holds tightly anyway. The scabbard / saya in very good order with a good amount of war time camouflage paint remaining. The sword sheathes and draws well, and the locking pin mechanism works and holds the scabbard in place.

An early WW2 rarer plain iron tsuba NCO shin gunto in wall above average condition. Just £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference V53 (0986). Further / full sized images available upon request.
