Napoleonic / Georgian British Royal Navy Officer's Dirk, sold

In aged but good condition, a Napoleonic / Georgian British Royal Navy Officer's / Midshipman's Dirk.

With some (remnants) of blue and gilt etching to the blade, this dirk is late 18C / 1800.

The 25.5 cm blade is in aged but sound condition and firm in the grip / hilt. The hilt with some gilt finish remaining. The ivory grip scales have age cracks but are sound.
