1821 Pattern British Heavy Cavalry Trooper's Sword, Sold

In sound condition, an 1821 Pattern British Heavy Cavalry Trooper's Sword.

This sword has a number of old nicks to the blade. Did this sword see heavy action (are the nicks period)? Can not say, do not know.

The 36 1/4 inch blade has a number of nicks to the blade and the tip has a bend to it but is sound. Blade firm in hilt. The hilt / guard is good but has a splattering of patina spots / patches. Grip with wear and age but in good shape. No scabbard.
