Antique Balinese Keris with demon carved blade (sold)

An exceptionally rare Balinese keris, 19th Century style, possibly 20th Century, with superb pamor and carved diety / demon / naga (Buta Bawi Srenggi) to blade.

Good condition old Balinese keris with exceptional carving to blade. The very top section of the blade nearest the hilt is loose. This is a rare genuine keris. The item was bought by the previous owners in the 1960's before Indonesian export restrictions were brought in; most keris of this form and quality are sold illegally from within Indonesia; this keris is 100% legal.
