Serial number 30660 to the blade and scabbard. We have great experience in these swords and guarantee this one is 100% authentic, not one of the many reproductions be passed off as such.

The 26 1/4 inch (cutting edge) blade is in good condition though with some small nicks, abrasions, etc. and firm in the hilt. The hilt with wear (original paint loss) as to be expected from a sword that likely saw use in battle conditions. The saya / scabbard is good but most of the war time paint has come and there is some rust / wear, but not too much. The sword sheathes and draws well, the locking pin mechanism works fine.
