This is a presentation sword given by Major Allen William Frank Paskins, MC presumably to a fellow officer in the then The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment (the East Surrey Regiment where Major Paskins earned his Military Cross in 1945 were amalgamated with the Queen's Royal Regiment - West Surrey in 1959). The serial number on the spine of this blade is 86271, dating it to 1963.

Major A W F Paskins, MC

The blade is firm in the hilt, the fishskin / grip in very good order, the blade in very good order with the etching clear. The sword sheathes and unsheathes well in and out of the scabbard. The hilt has small bubbling marks and circular polishing lines, but is generally very good. Further pictures available upon request. My item reference number 139 (40)
