Edwardian British Royal Artillery Officer's
In good condition, an Edwardian British Royal Artillery Officer's
Nice example, no maker's or retailer's name to the blade, so probably
sold through a smaller military outfitters who had no etching plate
made with the actual maker.
The 35 inch blade has some (a little) pitting which has been re-plated
over, but etching still clear, blade firm in the hilt. The hilt
/ guard in good order, as is the fishskin grip and twisted grip
wire bindings. The leather field service scabbard has some wear
but is overall good. The sword sheaths and draws well.
A nice sword for just £? (too late, now sold). Please quote
item reference T84 (0801). Further / full sized images available
