The 32 1/2 inch inch blade is in very good condition, just a few small patina patches, and firm in the hilt. The hilt is equally very good but the inner edge has wear and with that rust along the edge itself. Fishskin grip in very good condition, as are the twisted grip wire bindings. Plated steel scabbard has some patina spots and a ding. Leather over steel field scabbard has wear but is very good. Carry case and sword knot have aged and suffered losses, splits, etc. The sword sheathes and draws very well into / out of both scabbards. No maker's or retailer's name etched to the blade but the T proved disc was mostly used by retailer Leckie, Graham & Co., Glasgow.

Well above average condition for a great sword. A great buy for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference S79 (0709). Further / full sized images available upon request.
