19/20C Sulawesi Bugis Keris with Ronkenduru Pamor, sold

This is an exceptionally good 19th /20th Century Sulawesi Bugis Keris with excellent Ronkenduru Pamor.

Beautiful 13 1/2 inch blade in good condition, some preservation varnish remaining, the hilt pretty firm. The Garuda head good, though aged. The sheath with a small chip and old sticky label stain, but otherwise good. The keris sheathes well and fits quite flush. Nice price: £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference S22 (0608).
