Elizabeth II British Infantry Officer's Sword
by Eickhorn, Sold |
In very good, perhaps parade ground condition, a Elizabeth II
British Infantry Officer's Sword by Eickhorn.

Borderline parade ground condition, but I suspect a little TLC
would make it definitely so.

The 32 1/8 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the
hilt. The hilt / guard good; it has a slight frosting which I think
is by design. The inside of the guard has some age / specks and
is more frosted. The grip is in good condition, as are the twisted
grip wire bindings. The plated steel scabbard has some small bubbles
/ minor rust spots but is overall in very good order. The sword
sheathes and draws well. Includes a white leather sword knot (not
shown in photos) with is a little grubby / aged but sound.
Nice sword, quality maker, sensible price: £? (too late,
now sold). Please quote item reference R69 (0547). Further / full
sized photos available upon request.
