In good condition, a WW1 / George V British Infantry Officer's
Sword, Hutton & Sons Ltd Sheffield.
 

Complete with leather frog, some belts and case. A scarce WW1 /
Hutton & Sons Ltd Sheffield made sword.


The 32 5/8 inch blade is in good condition but some white tarnish
/ staining and a rust patch. Blade firm in hilt. The steel hilt
generally good, the guard with a pronounced downward section (it
looks like it was made this way), some small rust patches to the
edge. The faux fishskin grip in very good condition, as are the
twisted grip wire bindings. The leather field service scabbard in
good condition, the other leather items aged. The sword sheathes
and draws well.
