Pre-2000 South African Artillery Officer's Sword, sold

In very good condition, a Pre-2000 South African Artillery Officer's Sword, made by E & F Horster of Solingen.

The 30 1/2 inch plain blade (except for South African 1930 Ordinary Coat of Arms and maker's logo) is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The steel hilt very good, as is the grip. The leather field service scabbard also, of course, very good. The sword sheathes and draws well of a little loosely.

This sword is pretty much in parade ground condition and was probably made in the late 1990's. Yours for £? (too late, now sold). Please quote item reference Q87 (0424). Further full / sized images available on request.
