WW1 era Mole made Rifle Regiment Officer's
Sword, Sold |
In overall very good condition, a WW1 era Mole made Rifle Regiment
Officer's Sword, Ranken & Co Calcutta (made by Robert Mole &
Son).

Serial number M9648 confirms this sword was made by Mole of Birmingham.
This is a high quality sword, to say the least. Kings crown for
Edward 7th / George 5th (WW1 era).

The 32 1/3 inch blade is in good condition, oiled now for preservation,
very well etched, firm in the hilt. The plated steel hilt has some
tiny spotting. The grip and grip wire are both good. The leather
field service scabbard and belts are in good order. The sword sheathes
and draws well.
A scarce sword due to the "Ranken & Co" etching.
