The sword (made by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen, as many were) is a marriage with (not original to) the scabbard (made by Mole). Reserve / volunteer regiments would often get such stores items; the important part are the markings to the scabbard, just visible, "V" (volunteer) over "F E L" (Fife Light) over "135" (weapon number).

The 32 1/3 inch blade is in very good condition except for some rust where it meets the hilt / guard, firm in the hilt. The hilt / guard with age / light rust / tarnish but sound. The grip aged but good. The scabbard with age but very sound. The sword sheathes and draws well.
