In very good condition, a rare EDF British 1907P Hooked Quillon
Bayonet, 1st Pattern Scabbard, marked to the Middlesex Regiment
(Duke of Cambridge's Own) (57th & 77th Foot) (The Die Hards).


16 7/8 Inch blade in good condition, some light aging, firm in
the grip / hilt. The hilt with some pitting and small dents / scrapes
to wooden grip sections, but overall good. The locking pin mechanism
works well. The leather and metal fittings scabbard aged but good.
Matching serial numbers (R1233) to pommel and scabbard mouth. British
regimental markings "MX" above serial number on pommel
for Middlesex (Regiment - used for both 1st & 2nd Battalions).
A rare bayonet, well under-priced at £? (too late, now sold).
