The blade in particularly good condition (the hilt easily restored). The scabbard is dated 1911, so it is a marriage, which is often the case with these WW1 era swords. Various markings to the blade and scabbard.

The superb 34 3/4 inch blade is in very good, near mint condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt / bowl guard with some light rust (we have treated it) but in good condition. The grip very good, a little faded. The steel scabbard in very good though aged order. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A WW1 mole cavalry sword in good condition for only £(too late, now sold). Please quote item reference O73 (1378). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
