Sales enquiries

A lovely looking sword, with markings; "7. H. E. 92." (weapon 92 of E troop of the 7th Hussars).

The 32 1/8 inch blade has some wear and rust / patina, but is generally very good and firm in the hilt. The hilt has some signs of wear (slightly bent in places, almost certainly period from being carried on horseback). Grip very good. Steel scabbard with wear, patina / rust and a ding / crease near the drag, but overall good. The sword sheathes and draws well.

Nice sword, good provenance, great price; £(too late, sorry - but we will tell you the original sales price for a small fee). Please quote item reference N56 (1317). Further / full sized images available upon request.
