19C Nepalese Kora Sword with gold / red sun blade insert, Sold

In good condition, a sacrificial version of the Kora sword from Nepal, with gold metal and red stone / ceramic sun insert into blade.

What a beauty! The gold metal and red stone or ceramic blade insert make this a very special Nepalese kora. The 17 1/2 inch blade is in aged but good condition; the inner blade is very sharp still. Blade firm in hilt. The leather and wire grip in good order. The typical stepped Nepalese pommel intact.
