19th Century Persian Jambiya, silvered / inlaid blade, Sold

In good condition, a 19C Persian Jambiya, with silver metal inlaid blade.

A stunning piece. 6 1/4 inch inlaid blade in good condition except for forte one side where exposure to the air over the years has caused some light rust. Blade firm in hilt. The nielo hilt and scabbard show age wear and a little rust here and there. The scabbard has lost its interior lining, so the blade is loose in the sheath. 11 1/4 inches in length when sheathed.
