19C Indian Talwar / Tulwar Sword, for sale

In good overall condition, a good 19C Indian Talwar / Tulwar Sword with Armorer's / Armourer's Stamp to the Blade.

An authentic 19C Indian fighting tulwar, not a more recent decorative piece; the blade is very well made (polished se we can not determine if it is made from Wootz steel). Complete with armorer's mark.

The 29 1/4 inch blade is in good condition but the very tiniest end of the tip is bent (would probably hammer straight). Blade firm in hilt. Hilt in good condition. Original leather scabbard. Sword sheathes and draws well.
