Japanese Shinshinto Period Bizen Province Katana

In later mounts, a heavy shinshinto (early 19C) period katana, probably Bizen province.

A very heavy (1.007 Kg) 86 cm (62.5 cm cutting edge) blade in good order though unprofessionally cleaned with very indistinct straight "Sugu Ha" hamon, but with a lot of potential if given a professional polish.
