In very good condition / high polish, a Showato katana in civilian mounts, signed by known WW2 blade smith Nobumitsu.

A stunning katana. Most likely the blade taken from an Imperial Japanese gunto and put into civilian mounts. Signed "Noshu Seki Nobumitsu" with post 1926 / pre 1942 Showa stamp.

Noshu Seki Nobumitsu

The 65.5 cm (from mune-machi to tip / cutting section) blade is in very good condition, some small flecks here and there but very few. The mounts are all very good; this is one impressive Japanaese katana. The sword sheathes and draws very well.
