A nice example with the much scarcer leather and steel fittings scabbard type, making this a very distinctive sword.

The 32 1/8 inch blade is in good condition and the etching still crisp and clear, some small rust spots but not too many. The blade is firm in the hilt. The steel hilt with some age / staining (can be cleaned), but still in good condition. The fishskin grip and twisted grip wire bindings are very good. The scabbard is a nice example of the leather and steel fittings type; very landed gentry. The sword sheathes and draws well.

A great buy at only £xxx (too latye, now sold, but we will divulge the original sales price for a small fee). Please quote item reference number J01 (1120). Further / full sized pictures available upon request.
