Edward VII British Royal Artillery Officer's Sword, sold

In very good overall condition, a beautifully etched Edward 7th British Royal Artillery officer's sword by Hawkes.

Superb grey etched blade in very good condition. Made by quality maker Hawkes and Co of 14 Piccadilly London.

The mightily impressive 35 1/4 inch blade is in very good condition and firm in the hilt. The hilt with signs of aging and former rust but seemingly damage free and very sound. The fishskin grip in very good condition (lacking wire bindings). The steel scabbard is good; the sword sheathes and draws very well.
