Imperial Russian 1817 Pattern / Model Infantry Short Sword, sold

A rare Czarist Russian 1817 pattern / model infantry short sword / hanger / briquet, in generally good condition.

It's Imperial Russian, it's therefore rare. The markings are feint but can be seen; the distinctive langet finale giving it away as Russian.

The 27 inch blade is in aged and worn but still good condition and firm in the hilt. The brass hilt equally worn but still solid.
