Rare late 16th / early 17th Century Hungarian or possibly Polish
Szabla (sabre).
 
A very rare example of a late 1500's, early 1600's Hungarian, possibly
Polish Szabla sabre (see: Early
Hungarian-Polish Szabla). The sword is in very good condition
despite its age with the 76.5 cm blade firm in the hilt. The blade
does have some marks and one dent to it; although the picture left,
where the dent is caught by the flash, makes it look worse than
