ERII British Infantry Officer's Sword

Sales enquiries

In case you are looking for a sword for a serving officer, the hilt is in parade ground condition, the rest of the sword is very good. The etching is a little feint, as the blade appears to have been re-plated. The grip wire is a little astray in places. The leather field service scabbard has signs of use. It may well be usable by a serving officer with a little TLC.

The 32 inch blade is firm in the hilt. The sword sheathes and draws well. We believe this sword was UK made, because it has a good quality fishskin grip, but can not be 100% sure. We have used a leather balsam on the leather to enrich and preserve it. A very nice looking sword. Further / full sized images available upon request. H95 (1038)
