Meji Period Japanese Bone Wakizashi, sold

In good condition, a September 1868 through July 1912 (Meji period) Bone Japanese wakizashi.

A good condition example of a pre-war Japanese bone wakizashi.

The 21 inch blade is in good order and firm in the hilt. The intricately carved bone is in good shape, some cracking, as to be expected. The sword sheathes and draws well.
