A very good condition Huntingdon Militia (62nd Royal American
Regiment of Foot) infantry hanger (sword), made by Samuel Harvey,
which saw service with the British army during the US War of Independence
/ American Revolutionary War.
 

What a lovely example of this iconic British US War of Independence
/ American Revolutionary War sword, made by the top British maker
of the time, Samuel Harvey of Birmingham England. This sword saw
service with the British army in the Americas during that war.

The 24 3/4 inch blade is in very good condition, with "SH"
within a running fox trademark of Samuel Harvey on both sides. The
blade firm in the gilt on brass hilt. The hilt in very good condition
for its age, marked with "M Huntingdon" for the Huntingdon
Militia and "4/20" denoting the 20th weapon of the 4th
battalion.
A well above average example; look around, lesser examples (when
