French 1831M Infantry (Garde Nationale) Gladius Sword, sold

In overall very good condition, a French 1831 Model Infantry (Garde Nationale) Gladius Sword, well marked Talabot maker.

19 inch blade is excellent condition and firm in the hilt, the hilt also very good. The original leather and gilt metal fittings scabbard has shrunk a little over the years. Swords sheathes and draws well enough though.
